Hear the latest on what legislation we’re tracking in Columbus
In a new video, State Director Jared Weiser gives a legislative update and a reminder of the legislation NFIB is currently tracking for Ohio’s small business community. Take action below on some of the legislation mentioned:
- Affordable & Flexible Health Care Options – House Bill 133 would establish a $400 non-refundable tax credit for small businesses that offer ICHRAs and contribute at least $400 in a taxable year. Contact your state senator and tell them to support House Bill 133!
- Lawsuit Abuse – The Ohio House is debating legislation that would increase non-economic damage caps and index them to inflation. Tell Ohio lawmakers to vote NO on tort reform rollbacks! NFIB is supportive of House Bill 105, which would bring critical transparency and accountability to litigation financing. Contact your legislators and urge them to support House Bill 105!
