Florida’s Small Business Community Endorses U.S. Sen. Rick Scott for Re-Election

LARGO, Fla. (May 13, 2024) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, today endorsed Senator Rick Scott for re-election to represent Florida in the United States Senate. The endorsement was announced at a campaign event at NFIB member and small business Ascend Engineering in Largo. “There is no question that Senator Scott has been a staunch ally of small businesses in our state,” said Bill Herrle, NFIB Florida Executive Director. “As a former Florida governor, he has a strong record of advocating for pro-growth policies and has continued his commitment to those policies as a U.S. Senator. Senator Scott has earned a 100% NFIB voting record for this session and supports important legislation such as the Main Street Tax Certainty Act, which he is a co-sponsor of and a top priority for our members.
