NFIB member and Minnesota small business owner, Averre Marquis, recently joined the Small Business Rundown to discuss how his small businesses make the most the 20% Small Business Tax Deduction. This year, more than 33 million small businesses like theirs are able to reinvest more of their hard-earned dollars into their businesses and communities thanks to a 2025 federal tax law.
“Like any business when you’re faced with uncertainty or increased costs, you start pulling back… [The Small Business Deduction] just been such a shot in the arm to have all this extra capital where you can be a blessing to your employees and keep that retention.”
