Gov. Hochul directed New York State agencies to review their regulations and policies

We Need Small Business Voices!

In October, Governor Hochul directed New York State agencies to review their regulations and policies, and identify those that are outdated, can be amended, streamlined, or eliminated. Now New York State wants to hear directly from stakeholders. NFIB is requesting your help in identifying specific regulations, policies, and practices administered by New York State that add unnecessary processes, create undue burdens, or are simply antiquated. This is a rare opportunity to share your personal experiences with state agencies and various sectors of government. We are particularly interested in what makes it difficult for businesses to launch, serve customers, or grow, complicated processes, or unnecessary hurdles that prevent your business from accessing beneficial services. Be specific!

The feedback will help push the state to cut excessive red tape and expedite government processes. NFIB will take all recommendations and submit a comprehensive and anonymous list to the Governor’s office.
