NFIB Wisconsin State Director Luke Bacher joined Congressman Derrick Van Orden (R-WI) for a small business roundtable discussion

NFIB Wisconsin State Director Luke Bacher joined Congressman Derrick Van Orden (R-WI) for a small business roundtable discussion in Eau Claire this week. NFIB thanked Van Orden for his support of multiple measures that will help small businesses, including making the 20% small business tax deduction permanent.
“Congressman Van Orden holds an impressive 100% pro-small business voting record,” said Bacher. “It was clear from our discussion that protecting Main Street is at the forefront of his priorities in Congress.”
Topics discussed ranged from changes in the tax code to healthcare affordability and cutting red tape. Business owners expressed how critical it was for the 20% small business deduction to be made permanent. Van Orden listened to concerns about the rising cost of healthcare and outlined some solutions that Congress is set to act upon, including increased transparency, competition, and tax incentives such as CHOICE accounts.
NFIB is a member-driven organization advocating on behalf of small and independent businesses nationwide.
