97 Texas Legislative Candidates Earn Crucial Small Business Endorsement

January 26, 2026

The NFIB Texas PAC has endorsed 97 incumbent state legislators, including 11 in the Senate and 86 in the House, for their pro-small business records

AUSTIN (Jan. 26, 2026) –Today the NFIB Texas PAC, comprised exclusively of NFIB members from Texas, endorsed 97 incumbent state legislators for re-election, including 11 in the Senate and 86 in the House of Representatives.

“Texas is strong because of the unbridled entrepreneurial spirit of its small business owners,” NFIB State Director Jeff Burdett said. “It is important for voters to elect candidates who will support our small businesses. Each of these 97 incumbents understand that sound policy, like cutting red-tape and easing small business owners’ tax burdens, allows Main Street Texans to do what they do best: meet their customers’ needs, create good-paying jobs, and invest in our communities.

“On behalf of our approximately 20,000 members across the state, I’m proud to announce these endorsements and ask all Texas voters to support pro-small business candidates.”

The voter registration deadline is Monday, February 2. Early voting is February 17-February 27. The Primary Election Day is Tuesday, March 3. NFIB launched a new, comprehensive Voting Hub, to ensure small business owners nationwide are equipped to fully participate in state and federal elections.

The NFIB Texas PAC’s endorsement is important to these campaigns. Small business owners and their employees vote in large numbers and are known for actively recruiting friends, family members, and acquaintances to go to the polls.

NFIB’s political support is based on the candidates’ positions and records on key small-business issues.
