The No Tax on Tips bill will help Wisconsin small businesses and the economy

The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), Wisconsin’s leading small business advocacy organization, released the following statement in response to the passage of AB 38, the No Tax on Tips bill.

“Workforce shortages have heavily impacted Wisconsin’s small business community,” said NFIB Wisconsin State Director Luke Bacher.  “No Tax on Tips improves employee satisfaction and reduces administrative costs. This will make our state more competitive and help our small businesses hire and retain employees.”

Below are key benefits from the perspective of small business owners:

–  Increased employee morale and retention

–  Raises employee pay without increasing costs for small businesses

–  Reduced administrative burdens

–  Enhanced customer experiences

–  Economic stimulus for local communities

This policy can be a vital tool for sustaining and growing small enterprises in competitive markets.
