2026 Annual Report Filing Reminder: What Small Business Owners Need to Know

Small businesses are required to file an annual report

Beginning in 2025, Pennsylvania small business owners are now required to file an Annual Report to the Pennsylvania Department of State. The filing window is now open and the deadline for filing is June 30, 2026. The fee for the Annual Report is $7 for most small businesses.

The annual report must include the following information:

  • Business name
  • Jurisdiction of formation
  • Registered office address
  • Principal office address
  • Name of at least one governor (director, member, partner, etc.)
  • Names and titles of the principal officers, if any
  • Entity number issued by the Pennsylvania Department of State
