NFIB will keep its members updated on issues affecting small business
The Mississippi Legislature will begin its 2026 regular session on Jan. 6. Lawmakers will spend the next several months debating issues that affect the state’s economy, workforce, and small business climate.
State Director Leah Long said NFIB will be closely watching the session.
“Small businesses are the backbone of Mississippi’s economy, and we will stay involved to make sure lawmakers pass laws that help, not hurt, local businesses,” Long said. “We look forward to working with lawmakers on ideas that support jobs, growth, and a strong economy.”
NFIB will continue to keep its members updated on issues that affect them and their small businesses throughout the session.
NFIB is a member-driven organization advocating on behalf of small and independent businesses nationwide.
