Colorado Small Business Owners Participate in Roundtable Discussion in Fowler & Monument

October 31, 2025

Small business owners gather together to meet with state lawmakers, discuss policy issues and challenges

At roundtable events in Fowler and Monument, NFIB Colorado State Director Michael Smith met with small business owners and state lawmakers. In Fowler, attendees had the opportunity to visit with Assistant Minority Leader Rep. Ty Winter. In Monument, attendees visited with House Republican Leader Jarvis Caldwell. These events allow local job creators to connect with fellow business owners and discuss the 2025 Legislative Session.
“It’s always great to hear directly from our members,” Smith said. “Anti-small business proposals coming out of the Legislature continue to pose a serious challenge to Main Street Coloradans. During these discussions, we talked about solutions we can urge lawmakers to take up in the next session, and ways for our small business owner members to make their voices heard in Denver.”
