Recently launched Red Tape Hotline aimed to help with federal regulations
The Ohio Small Business Administration Office of Advocacy is a resource for your small business! The office is designed to support small businesses struggling with federal regulations in their daily business operations. Check out a few of their services here:
- Office of Advocacy’s Interagency Affairs – the team of attorneys in Interagency Affairs focus on regulations affecting small businesses by engaging directly with federal agencies.
- Office of Advocacy’s Economic Research – the team of economists provide critical insights into the effects of federal regulations on small businesses.
- Office of Advocacy’s Regional Outreach – the regional affairs team operates across 10 regions and acts as a bridge between small business owners and the SBA headquarters in Washington, D.C.
The Office of Advocacy recently launched the Red Tape Hotline, where small businesses can submit their burdensome regulations directly to the office. Submit a form at Hotline – Office of Advocacy, call 800-827-5722 (option 3) or email at redtape@sba.gov.
