Small business owners gathered in Pendleton for our third quarter LC meeting

Indiana small business owners recently gathered for NFIB’s Indiana third quarter Leadership Council meeting in Pendleton. The meeting was hosted at NFIB member Pete Bitar’s small business at Bitar Field where members had the opportunity to view his drone and hangar. In addition to building drones for the military, Pete’s parent company, LEO Flight Corporation, has pioneered electric jet-powered personal flying cars. His work spotlights Indiana’s commitment to innovation and leadership in the future of mobility and we’re lucky to have his business housed in our state.

Indiana Secretary of Energy and Natural Resources Suzanne Jaworowski joined the meeting to discuss the latest energy news in the state.

“We had a great time at Bitar Field and Indiana’s small business owners had a productive discussion on the state of small business and what they can expect in the coming months,” said Natalie Robinson, NFIB Indiana State Director. “We appreciate Secretary Jaworowski for taking the time to meet with our members and hear their energy concerns.”
