Small Businesses Commend Selection of Blaise Ingoglia as Florida’s CFO

July 17, 2025

Sen. Ingoglia is a strong small business advocate

The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), Florida’s leading small business advocacy organization, applauds Governor DeSantis’s pick of Blaise Ingoglia as Florida’s next Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

“We are pleased to see state Sen. Ingoglia selected as Florida’s next CFO,” said Bill Herrle, NFIB Florida Executive Director. “Sen. Ingoglia is a dedicated advocate of Florida’s small business community and most recently led the effort to fully eliminate the business rent tax, a top priority for small employers. During his time in the Florida legislature, Sen. Ingoglia led the fight to oppose the Department of Revenue’s power grab that would have unfairly penalized small businesses during tax audits, proving his commitment to standing up against government overreach. We are confident Sen. Ingoglia will continue to prioritize reducing regulations on small businesses in his new role. We look forward to continuing to work with him.”

Sen. Ingoglia recently earned a 100% NFIB voting record. He is filling the CFO position left by Jimmy Patronis, who successfully won the FL-01 congressional seat.
