NFIB member Tim Corbitt discusses the 20% Small Business Deduction

NFIB member and small business owner Tim Corbitt joined the latest episode of NFIB’s Small Business Rundown podcast to discuss the 20% Small Business Deduction.

“We are a large format digital printer. We print for companies actually all over the country, and the company actually has been formed 32 years ago now and continues to evolve based on the needs of our customers. We started really being able to do something nobody else can do.”

Corbitt explained how the Small Business Deduction has been a benefit for his business and his concerns if it’s not made permanent.

According to a recent report, making the Small Business Deduction permanent would lead to significant economic benefits, leaving the small business tax rate on a level playing field with its competitors. Additionally, New Hampshire is projected to gain 6,000 new jobs annually over the next 10 years if the deduction remains in place, including an annual GDP increase of $345 million for the first decade and $712 million per year beyond 2035.
