NFIB NY Small Business Day of Advocacy – Card Swipe Fees

New York State Legislative Office Building – Albany, NY

Help us save almost $1 billion for New Yorkers!

>>>>> REGISTER TODAY <<<<<

Small businesses have been slammed with swipe fees as more consumers opt for card payments over cash. In New York, businesses are paying these egregious fees on sales tax and gratuities. Legislation has been introduced to eliminate sales swipe fees on tax and tips, which would save New Yorkers nearly one billion dollars annually. We need your help to ensure this bill is passed!

NFIB and small business organizations are meeting in Albany on May 6 to advocate for the elimination of credit card swipe fees on sales tax and gratuities. Legislators need to hear directly from the small business owners who are hit with these fees to fully understand how much they need this relief. Please join us at this important advocacy event!

This is a free event with breakfast and lunch provided, but advanced registration is required. Please email Grassroots Manager Bre Mapston at bre.mapston@nfib.org with any questions or for assistance with registering.
