Support Liability Protection Legislation for Pennsylvania Small Business

Small businesses in Pennsylvania have endured a full year of unprecedented challenges and an uncertain future. The pandemic’s economic fallout – made worse by Governor Wolf’s draconian and arbitrary restrictions and shutdowns – have forced many small businesses to the breaking point.

Nobody values the health and wellbeing of their employees, customers, and communities more than small business owners. That’s why it’s so important to provide small businesses with basic liability protections from predatory COVID-related litigation.

Please click here to take action and tell your state representative how important enacting this legislation (Amendment A00598 to House Bill 605) is for your business.

House Bill 605 (A00598) provides targeted, temporary protection from lawsuits for our healthcare heroes and those manufacturing much needed personal protective equipment. It also protects shops, farms, restaurants, plants, offices, and non-profits from frivolous lawsuits alleging exposure to COVID-19.

Governor Wolf vetoed this legislation last year which is why its so important that we elevate the voice of small business in 2021. Please take action now to make sure your representative gets the message – it’s time to protect Main Street businesses and local job creation.
