Please Vote Your Oregon Member State Ballot

January 5, 2024 Last Edit: July 20, 2024

Results help center NFIB’s lobbying agenda in the Legislature.

Your NFIB Oregon-member state ballot has been sent to you. If you haven’t already received it, please use it to express your opinion on four issues the Oregon State Legislature will be grappling with in 2024.

Unique among business associations, NFIB annually polls its members on state and federal issues vital to their ability to own, operate, and grow their enterprises. Results from the member ballots center NFIB’s lobbying position in Salem and in Washington, D.C. It’s because of this method, elected officials and other policymakers from coast to coast consider NFIB to be the true voice of small business.

The 2024 NFIB Oregon-member ballot asked four questions:

  • Should Oregon raise the Corporate Activity Tax exemption threshold from $1 million to $5 million?
  • Should Oregon require employers to disclose salary ranges and benefits on job postings?
  • Should Oregon levy a payroll tax to establish a new revenue stream to help fund childcare services?
  • Should Oregon prohibit the sale of petroleum diesel fuel?

The ballot contains background information and proponents’ and opponents’ comments on each of the issues. Please vote your ballot. The Oregon State Legislature returns for business on February 5, 2024.
