Illinois Small Businesses Endorse Keith Pekau

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (Oct. 4, 2022) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, today endorsed Keith Pekau for election to the United States House of Representatives to represent Illinois’ 6th Congressional District.

“Keith Pekau, as a small business owner and Mayor of Orland Park, holds a keen understanding of the issues impacting Illinois’ small businesses,” said Chris Davis, NFIB Illinois State Director. “As mayor, he has focused on cutting operating expenses and lowering property taxes which has benefited small businesses in the region. He has pledged to work towards a more pro-small business environment in Congress that will allow small businesses to grow and create new jobs for the community. We are pleased to endorse Keith Pekau today.”

“Keith Pekau has extensive business experience and will be a pro-small business Member of Congress,” said Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director. “We are confident that he will be a strong advocate for small businesses, and we look forward to working with him.”

The endorsement is issued from NFIB FedPAC, NFIB’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by voluntary contributions by NFIB members over and above their membership dues. Decisions made by the NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation.
