New York’s Small Business Community Endorses Mike Lawler

ALBANY, N.Y. (Sept. 21, 2022) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, endorsed Mike Lawler for election to the United States House of Representatives to represent New York’s 17th Congressional District.

“We are confident that Mike Lawler is the small business candidate for New York’s 17th Congressional District,” said Ashley Ranslow, NFIB New York State Director. “In Albany, he demonstrated his commitment to supporting New York’s small businesses with an 86% voting record. He recognizes that inflation is a top concern for Main Street and has committed to making it a priority of his in Washington. He also understands how high taxes and supply chain issues impact small businesses and wants to focus on pro-small business solutions. We look forward to working with him.”

“Mike Lawler will be a reliable ally for small businesses in Congress,” said Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director. “He will be a pro-small business Member of Congress and we are pleased to endorse him today.”

The endorsement is issued from NFIB FedPAC, NFIB’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by voluntary contributions by NFIB members over and above their membership dues. Decisions made by the NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation.
