WATCH: NFIB Illinois Talks Proposed Vehicle Emission Standards

February 18, 2025

NFIB Illinois, in collaboration with the Mid-West Trucking Association, hosted a webinar on February 13 to discuss proposed adoption of emission standards

NFIB Illinois recently collaborated with the Mid-West Trucking Association to host a virtual event on Thursday, February 13 to discuss the proposed adoption of California’s vehicle emissions standards and inform small business owners how to make their voices heard and push back on these policies.

Watch the webinar here.

The Illinois Pollution Control Board is holding hearings on adopting some of California’s vehicle emissions standards: Advanced Clean Cars II, Advanced Clean Trucks, and Low NOx Heavy-Duty Omnibus Regulation. The hearings are scheduled for March 10-12, 2025. There will be an opportunity for public comment on March 10 (in-person) and March 11 (online). NFIB Illinois encourages members to speak out against this egregious regulatory burden.
