TAKE ACTION: Delaware General Assembly Introduces Legislation to Create New Tax Brackets

February 3, 2025

HB 13 would create two new tax brackets

Delaware is one of the worst-ranked states when it comes to individual income tax – yet lawmakers recently introduced House Bill 13 which would create two new tax brackets.

TAKE ACTION: share your story with legislators on how adding new tax brackets would impact your small business.

The legislation would affect income above $125,000 and would be taxed at the highest rate as follows:

1. In excess of $125,000 but not in excess of $250,000 at 6.75%.
2. In excess of $250,000, at 6.95%.

This will affect pass-through businesses that file as individuals.

Share your story and explain to lawmakers in Dover that we need policies that would ignite the small business economy and not increase taxes on Main Street.
