The Illinois Department of Labor released its mandatory Paid Leave for All Workers Act Notice on December 27.

Illinois Department of Labor Releases Mandatory Paid-Leave Poster

Employers, under the Paid Leave for All Workers Act, are required to post the notice “in a conspicuous place on the premises of the employer where notices to employees are customarily posted, and include it in a written document, or written employee manual or policy if the employer has one.” <<>> Your Rights Poster Employers that fail to post the notice could face a civil penalty of $500 for the first violation and $1,000 for any subsequent violations. The poster is available in English, Spanish, and Polish on the Department of Labor’s website. The Paid Leave for All Workers Act goes into effect on January 1, 2024.
