The one-on-one visits offered elected officials the opportunity to learn more about Ohio's job creators

NFIB Helps Connect Members With Their Legislators

NFIB helped set a number of one-on-one meetings between our small business members and their state legislators. Rep. Steve Demetriou met with Matt Ryser or Ryser Insurance in Garettsville. Rep. Rodney Creech, meanwhile, visited Scott’s Paint and Body in Trenton to talk about some of the challenges facing Ohio’s small businesses. Rep. Adam Mathews visited The Feed Store and Ryan B. Walker CPA. And we connected NFIB member business Cat-Wood Metalworks in Moraine with Rep. Andrea White. The meetings gave owners the opportunity to show their legislators what their businesses do and engage with them on the issues that affect their businesses and small businesses throughout the state. If you’re interested in participating in future meetings, contact NFIB Grassroots Manager Anthony Lagunzad.
