WASHINGTON, D.C. (Feb. 23, 2023) – In a new op-ed published by National Review, NFIB Small Business Legal Center Executive Director Beth Milito explains how the latest ‘Waters of the United States’ rule by the Environmental Protection Agency is another example of federal overreach that will hurt America’s small business owners – including farmers, ranchers, and home builders. “When it rains, it pours, and small businesses can’t afford the resulting flood. That’s the reality of the Biden administration’s latest “Waters of the United States” (WOTUS) rule, which the Environmental Protection Agency rolled out just before the start of the new year.
