LINCOLN (Jan. 9, 2023) – With the Nebraska Unicameral Legislature gaveled into its 108th session last week, NFIB State Director Bob Hallstrom issued the following statement urging lawmakers to consider small business priorities, including tax relief and worker compensation reform, to stabilize Nebraska’s economic recovery.

“As the engine that drives Nebraska’s economy, small businesses are excited to welcome the Legislature back to Lincoln. From passing needed tax relief to reforming worker compensation laws, legislators have an opportunity to address the challenges our small businesses face and stabilize our economic recovery.
