Iowa Small Businesses Endorse Rep. Ashley Hinson for Re-Election

DES MOINES, Iowa. (August 1, 2024) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, endorsed Representative Ashley Hinson for re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives to represent Iowa’s 2nd Congressional District.

“From day one, Representative Ashley Hinson has proven her leadership when it comes to defending the rights of small business owners and their employees,” said Matt Everson, NFIB Iowa State Director. “Rep. Hinson works tirelessly as a small business advocate to lower taxes and eliminate burdensome government regulations. On behalf of our nearly 12,000 NFIB members in Iowa, we enthusiastically endorse Rep. Ashley Hinson and look forward to her re-election in November.”

“Representative Ashley Hinson is a true champion of small business owners in Congress,” said Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director. “She has a strong small business voting record and has been an advocate for pro-small business policies, including as an original cosponsor of the Main Street Tax Certainty Act. We know Representative Hinson will continue to be a champion for Main Street and we are proud to endorse her for re-election today.”

The endorsement is issued from NFIB FedPAC, NFIB’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by voluntary contributions by NFIB members over and above their membership dues. Decisions made by the NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation.
