Annual Sexual Harassment Prevention Model Policy and Training

Under New York State law, every employer is required to establish a sexual harassment prevention policy and provide employees with sexual harassment prevention training annually. A copy of the prevention policy, as well as training materials, must be provided to each employee at the time of hiring and every year thereafter as part of the law’s annual notice and training requirements. The New York Department of Labor and New York State Division of Human Rights has developed a model anti-sexual harassment policy and a model training program for employers to use.
