The ballot includes several issues that could impact Illinois NFIB members

NFIB Illinois released its 2026 state ballot via email to Illinois NFIB members on January 5. The ballot addresses a number of issues that could impact small businesses in Illinois.

On this ballot, NFIB Illinois members have the opportunity to express their views on issues such as:

1. Vehicle Miles Traveled Taxes

2. Flexible Work Schedules

3. Health Insurance Mandates

4. Vocational Training Opportunities

5. Industry-Specific Wage and Labor Boards

As a member-driven organization, NFIB regularly surveys its members to gauge where they stand on important issues facing small businesses. The results of these surveys drive NFIB’s positions. Only members are eligible to vote on state ballots.

Members are encouraged to reach out to State Director Noah Finley (noah.finley@nfib.org) with any questions or comments.
