New Jersey Assembly Bill 2908 takes a step in the right direction on energy affordability

Legislation introduced by Assemblyman Alex Sauicke takes a step in the right direction on energy affordability in New Jersey. Assembly Bill 2908 exempts from the sales and use tax the retail sales of natural gas and electrical services for residential customers.

The cost of energy is a top concern for small business owners in the Garden State. While there is still work to be done on lowering the prices of generating and transmitting energy, this bill would greatly benefit the job creators who call New Jersey home, especially the thousands of residential small business owners.
