Governor DeWine appointed Weiser to serve on the board

NFIB Ohio State Director Jared Weiser was recently appointed by Governor Mike DeWine to serve on the Ohio Public Benefits Advisory Board. The board’s purpose is to ensure that energy services are provided to low-income consumers in Ohio in an affordable manner. Weiser joins twenty members who represent a variety of sectors and industries.

“It’s an honor to be appointed by Governor DeWine to represent Ohio’s small business community on the Public Benefits Advisory Board,” said Weiser. “Small business owners understand the importance of having affordable and reliable energy and are committed to supporting initiatives to help achieve that. I look forward to working with the Board to make sure Ohio’s energy policies work for everyone.”

The board’s members are appointed by the governor and serve three-year terms. The 21-member board advises the Director of Development on the latest energy policy.
