NFIB Legislative Update Webinar & Leadership Council Meeting Recap

On July 16, 30 members of Ohio’s Leadership Council met in Columbus to hear from guest speakers, elect new LC members, and recognize small business owners.

Ohio Supreme Court Chief Justice Sharon Kennedy spoke with NFIB LC members on the judicial system in Ohio and gave insights into the Supreme Court. The Leadership Council elected two new members to the LC – Bruce Lackey of Grove City and Robert Greiner of Steubenville. NFIB presented 30-year member anniversary plaques to Scott Lipps of Sleep Tite Mattress Factory in Franklin and Thad Claggett of Claggett and Sons Inc. in Newark. Kellie Loudin, of Rumer-Loudin in Barnesville, was presented Ohio’s Small Business Champion Award.
