The Senator joined us in Grand Rapids for a small business discussion

NFIB hosted a mixer and roundtable event with state Senator Mark Huizenga in Grand Rapids. During the meeting, small business owners and NFIB members had the opportunity to ask questions about the state budget, road funding, and the crucial 2026 election coming up.

Senator Huizenga explained the recently passed state budget and what it means for Michigan’s small businesses.

NFIB Michigan State Director Amanda Fisher said, “We appreciate Senator Huizenga for taking the time to hear from small business owners directly about what is and isn’t working for their small business.”
