NFIB Hosts Small Business Roundtable With N.C. Labor Commissioner

Business owners shared concerns about regulations, workplace safety, and labor laws

North Carolina Labor Commissioner Luke Farley meets with NFIB members in Wilmington

NFIB hosted a small business roundtable with Labor Commissioner Luke Farley in Wilmington.

During the meeting, which took place at Cape Fear Community College, small business owners asked questions about workplace rules, safety regulations, and how new laws might affect their businesses.

Commissioner Farley listened to their concerns and explained how the Department of Labor is working to help both employers and workers. He also talked about the importance of keeping workplaces safe and making sure businesses have the support they need.

NFIB State Director Gregg Thopson said, “I want to thank Commissioner Farley for spending time with our members, answering their questions, and listening to their concerns.”
