DEED's Paid Leave Division hosts webinar series to unpack the Paid Family and Medical Leave program in Minnesota

The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development’s (DEED) Paid Leave Division is hosting a monthly webinar series to unpack the basic elements of the Paid Family and Medical Leave program in Minnesota. Topics to be covered will include: who is covered, employer responsibilities, and other tools and resources available to employers. DEED will also answer questions regarding how the PFML program will impact both employers and employees.

The next webinar is scheduled for Thursday, August 14th, 2025, from 12:00pm to 1:00pm (CT). A link to DEED’s registration page can be found here: Introduction to Paid Leave / Minnesota Paid Leave.

These webinars will be hosted monthly between August and November 2025. A full list of scheduled public engagement events and recordings of previous events can be found here: Public engagement events / Minnesota Paid Leave. DEED will provide additional links as registration for each event opens.

Note: This webinar series is hosted exclusively by DEED and those who are interested must register through DEED’s registration page.
