Early Voting Is Underway in Virginia

October 3, 2025

We must support the candidates who support small businesses

In-person early voting is underway in Virginia. It began Sept. 19 and runs through Nov. 1. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 4.

NFIB State Director Julia Hammond is urging NFIB members to vote in this year’s state and local races. “There’s a lot riding on the outcome of this year’s election,” she said. “We need to support the candidates who support Virginia’s small businesses.”

Oct. 24 is the last day Virginians may register to vote or update your voter registration. “Updating your information is important if you’ve moved or changed your name since the last election,” Hammond said. You may register in advance either at your local registrar’s office or through the link on the NFIB Voting Hub.

“The outcome of this year’s election will determine the policies that shape Main Street for years to come,” Hammond said. “Voting is the best way to ensure our leaders understand how important small businesses are to Virginia’s economy.”
