This is the only statewide contest on the Nov. 4 ballot
Early voting begins Tuesday, Oct. 14, for Georgia’s Public Service Commission special election, the only statewide race on the Nov. 4 ballot.
Voters will choose commissioners for Districts 2 and 3, though all Georgia voters can cast ballots in both contests. Incumbent Republicans Tim Echols and Fitz Johnson are being challenged by Democrats Alicia Johnson and Keisha Sean Waites.
The PSC regulates electricity, natural gas, and telecommunications in Georgia, making decisions that directly affect the cost of running a small business.
Early voting ends on Oct. 31, with hours and weekend availability varying by county. Voters can learn more at the NFIB Voting Hub.
