Washington,
DC (November 23, 2015)
– Presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz will address and
answer questions from members of a coalition of major nationwide business
groups in a TeleForum next Wednesday, December 2.  Cruz is the third leading presidential
candidate to accept the invitation to speak to members of the Associated
Builders and Contractors, the Associated General Contractors, the Business-Industry
Political Action Committee, the National Association of Manufacturers, the National
Federation of Independent Business, and the National Retail Federation.

Cruz
will directly address questions in a call that will start at 2:20 p.m. EST and will
last approximately 50 minutes. Members of the media are invited to listen in on
the session and report on the questions and answers. To participate, press
should send an e-mail to [email protected] with
their media outlet clearly identified. A link to listen live online will be
sent shortly before the call starts. Those who signed up for the previous calls
with Sen. Marco Rubio and Gov. Jeb Bush will automatically be on the list of
invited media.

The
other candidates still invited to speak with the groups are (in alphabetical
order):

  • Dr. Ben
    Carson

    CEO Carly Fiorina

The
candidates qualified for the initial invitation by maintaining at least 4
percent in the Real Clear Politics average of polls during the period starting
from the first GOP debate and ending on Labor Day. Should additional candidates
average at least 4 percent for a 30-day time period prior to the start of
voting, an invitation to participate will be sent to them.
