“Workforce development and hiring new workers are two challenges that I continue to hear about regularly from small business owners across the country in today’s strong economy. Small businesses represent nearly half of U.S. workers and almost half of our country’s GDP, so the work we are doing and the discussions we are having on the American Workforce Policy Advisory Board are so important. I’m encouraged by today’s meeting, and I look forward to continuing to contribute recommendations to help the Board on behalf of the small business community.
