MADISON, Wis. (July 29, 2020) — The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, endorsed Congressman Mike Gallagher for re-election to the United States House of Representatives today to represent Wisconsin’s 8th Congressional District.
“I’m proud to endorse Congressman Mike Gallagher for re-election today on behalf of our Wisconsin members,” said Bill G. Smith, NFIB’s Wisconsin State Director. “Congressman Gallagher has been a dedicated supporter of our state’s small businesses in Wisconsin and in Washington, D.C. He understands the issues that our members care about, such as protecting small businesses from employer mandates and making tax relief for small businesses permanent. We know he will continue to be an advocate for the Wisconsin small business community in Congress, and we look forward to continuing to work with him.”
“Our country’s small businesses need strong small business supporters in Congress,” said NFIB National Political Director Sharon Sussin. “Congressman Mike Gallagher has proven himself to be one for Wisconsin’s small businesses, and we are confident he’ll remain dedicated to supporting pro-small business legislation so that our nation’s small businesses can continue their recovery.”
Mike Gallagher’s endorsement today comes from NFIB FedPAC, the organization’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by NFIB member donations above membership dues. Decisions made by NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member driven grassroots evaluation process. Small business owners are influential in their communities and NFIB members in Wisconsin will work hard to re-elect Mike Gallagher.
