OLYMPIA, Wash. (July 20, 2020) — The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, today endorsed Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers for re-election to the United States House of Representatives.
“Congresswoman McMorris Rodgers has been a strong supporter of the issues small businesses in Washington state care about,” said Patrick Connor, NFIB’s Washington State Director. “She has a true understanding of the challenges they are facing, and now more than ever, Washington small businesses need representatives in Congress with their interests at heart. We are confident Congresswoman McMorris Rodgers will continue to be an advocate for our small business community in Washington’s 5th Congressional District, and we are proud to endorse her today.”
“Small businesses across the country need good representation in Congress,” said NFIB National Political Director Sharon Sussin. “Congresswoman McMorris Rodgers has been a small business supporter throughout her time in Congress. We look forward to continuing to work with her in the U.S. House of Representatives.”
Cathy McMorris Rodgers’ endorsement today comes from NFIB FedPAC, the organization’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by NFIB member donations above membership dues. Decisions made by NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member driven grassroots evaluation process. Small business owners are influential in their communities and NFIB members in Washington will work hard to re-elect Cathy McMorris Rodgers.
