AUSTIN, Texas (Oct. 14, 2020) — The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, today endorsed United States Senator John Cornyn for re-election.
“Senator Cornyn has been a true champion for Texas small businesses throughout his time in Congress,” said Annie Spilman, NFIB’s Texas State Director. “He understands the issues our members are concerned about, especially during these unprecedented and difficult times. We know that Senator Cornyn will remain a strong and reliable advocate for our state’s small businesses. On behalf of our members in Texas, we are proud to endorse Senator John Cornyn for re-election today.”
“Small businesses need strong representatives in Congress now more than ever and Senator Cornyn is a staunch ally for small businesses in Texas,” said NFIB National Political Director Sharon Sussin. “We are pleased to endorse Senator Cornyn, and we look forward to continuing to work with him.”
Senator Cornyn’s endorsement today comes from NFIB FedPAC, the organization’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by NFIB member donations above membership dues. Decisions made by NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation process. Small business owners are influential in their communities and NFIB members in Texas will work hard to re-elect Senator Cornyn.
