Texas’ Small Business Community Endorses Congressman Dan Crenshaw for Re-election

Date: October 23, 2020

AUSTIN, Texas (Oct. 23, 2020) — The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, today endorsed Congressman Dan Crenshaw for re-election to continue to represent Texas’ 2nd Congressional District in the United States House of Representatives.

“Congressman Dan Crenshaw has shown himself to be a strong ally for Texas’ small businesses during his first term in Congress,” said Annie Spilman, NFIB’s Texas State Director. “He has a true understanding of the issues small businesses care about and has consistently made time to meet and talk with our members. We know he will continue to stand up for pro-small business legislation. That’s why we are proud to endorse Congressman Crenshaw for re-election today.”

“Congressman Crenshaw’s voting record speaks for itself,” said NFIB National Political Director Sharon Sussin. “He earned a 100% voting record with NFIB during his first term in Congress, proving his solid support for small businesses in Texas and across the country. We are pleased to endorse Congressman Crenshaw today, and we look forward to continuing to work with him.”

Dan Crenshaw’s endorsement today comes from NFIB FedPAC, the organization’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by NFIB member donations above membership dues. Decisions made by NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation process. Small business owners are influential in their communities and NFIB members in Texas will work hard to re-elect Dan Crenshaw.
