NFIB Cites Candidate’s Background and Voting Record in Ohio Legislature
Washington, D.C. (June 27, 2018) – NFIB, the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, is endorsing NFIB member Troy Balderson in the special election on August 7, 2018, to represent Ohio’s 12th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. NFIB cited Balderson’s background and voting record on pro-small business legislation in the Ohio Legislature.
“As an NFIB member, Troy Balderson has a true understanding of the challenges that our members face every day,” said NFIB’s Ohio State Director Roger Geiger. “Balderson has been a dedicated supporter of small business in the Ohio Legislature, and we are confident that he will continue to be a champion for them in the U.S. House. On behalf of our NFIB members in Ohio’s 12th Congressional District, we are proud to endorse Troy Balderson for election to the U.S. House of Representatives.”
During his time in the Ohio Legislature, Balderson earned a 100 percent NFIB voting record and was awarded the NFIB Guardian of Small Business Award.
“I’m humbled to be supported by the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB),” said Troy Balderson. “Small businesses are the backbone of our economy, and in Congress, I’ll work hard for our entrepreneurs and business owners.”
“Good small business policy starts with electing good small business candidates like Troy Balderson,” said NFIB National Political Director Sharon Sussin. “He knows the issues that affect small businesses in Ohio. We are proud to endorse Troy Balderson for election to the U.S. House, and we look forward to following his hard work on behalf of small businesses in Ohio and across the country in Congress.”
Troy Balderson’s endorsement today comes from the NFIB FedPAC, the organization’s political action committee. Small business owners vote in high percentages and they are influential in their communities. NFIB members in Ohio will work hard to elect Troy Balderson to the U.S. House.
