Topeka, KS (April 4, 2017) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading representative of small business owners, is endorsing Ron Estes in Kansas’s 4th Congressional District. Estes’ commitment to issues that small business owners care about makes him an ideal candidate for Congress.

“Ron Estes will be a strong voice for small business in the U.S. House,” said NFIB National Political Director Sharon Sussin. “He knows that Washington red tape and taxes are holding back Kansas small businesses and will work to eliminate barriers. He has the experience and the right perspective to represent small business owners in Congress.”

“NFIB is the voice of small business in Kansas,” said Estes. “Having an extensive background in the private sector as an engineer, I’m honored to earn their support. My priority in Congress will be to cultivate a business climate that empowers entrepreneurs and business owners to succeed without undue regulatory and tax burdens. I look forward to working on behalf of the thousands of small business owners who have had the courage to pursue their passions and drive the Kansas economy.”

Estes’ endorsement today comes from the NFIB FedPAC, the organization’s political action committee.  Small business owners vote in high percentages and they are influential in their communities.  NFIB members in Kansas’s 4th Congressional District will work hard to send Ron Estes to Congress.
