Washington, D.C. (October 19, 2016) – The National Federation of
Independent Business (NFIB)
, the nation’s leading representative of small
business owners, is endorsing Rep. Rodney
Davis (IL-13)
for re-election. Davis has a strong record of supporting
legislation that would help small businesses and should be returned to the U.S.
House of Representatives.

“Congressman Davis stands up for Illinois
small businesses and deserves to be re-elected,” said NFIB/Illinois State
Director Kim Clarke Maisch
. “In the past Congress, he voted with small
business owners on every critical issue. As someone who worked in a family
business, he knows the ways federal taxes and regulations hold back growth and
jobs. NFIB members hope to see him back serving in the U.S. House next year.”

Davis qualified for an endorsement from the
NFIB by achieving a high rating on votes scored in the current Congress. The
Congressman earned 100 percent on the 14 votes NFIB has monitored so far. The
list of the votes is available here.

Davis’s endorsement today comes from the
NFIB SAFE Trust, the organization’s political action committee.  Small
business owners vote in high percentages and they are influential in their
communities.
