Washington, D.C. (Sept. 25, 2018) – NFIB, the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, has endorsed Jim Hagedorn for Minnesota’s 1st Congressional District.
“Jim Hagedorn is a dedicated supporter of Minnesota small businesses,” said NFIB’s Minnesota State Director Mike Hickey. “He has a strong understanding of the issues that matter to small businesses, such as reducing burdensome regulations, repealing the death tax, and protecting small business tax cuts. On behalf of our members in Minnesota’s 1st Congressional District, we are proud to endorse him for election to the United States House of Representatives.”
A native Minnesotan, Hagedorn was raised on his family’s farm near Truman.
“It’s an honor to have earned the endorsement of the southern Minnesota small business owners who are a part of NFIB’s Fed PAC. Born in Blue Earth and raised in Truman, I understand how important the success of our small business owners is to preserve our southern Minnesota economy and rural way of life. NFIB plays a critical role in connecting small business owners with their elected officials, and I look forward to working with them to enact a pro-small business agenda in Congress,” Hagedorn stated.
“Hagedorn is the kind of advocate small business needs in the U.S. House,” said NFIB National Political Director Sharon Sussin. “He knows the challenges small businesses face day in and day out. We are confident that Hagedorn will be a champion for small businesses in Minnesota and throughout the country in the U.S. House of Representatives.”
NFIB is the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization. Jim Hagedorn endorsement today comes from the NFIB FedPAC, the organization’s political action committee. Small business owners vote in high percentages and they are influential in their communities. NFIB members in Minnesota will work hard to elect Jim Hagedorn to the U.S. House.
