Washington, D.C. (May 16, 2017) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading representative of small business owners, is endorsing Greg Gianforte in Montana’s At-Large Congressional District. Gianforte’s commitment to issues that small business owners care about makes him an ideal candidate for Congress.
“Greg is an NFIB member and we are proud to endorse him for the U.S. House,” said NFIB National Political Director Sharon Sussin. “As someone who started multiple successful small businesses, he understands the challenges facing owners and entrepreneurs. He wants to go to Washington to get rid of obstacles like high taxes, red tape, and costly health insurance. His fellow small business owners are excited to send him to Washington to advocate on their behalf.”
“I know what it takes to build businesses and create jobs because I’ve done it my whole life,” said Greg Gianforte. “At RightNow Technologies, I created over 500 high-paying Montana jobs and I’ve committed my life to helping create more of that success all across Montana. We need to peel back regulations and lower taxes to make it easier for our Montana small businesses to thrive. I’ll be a strong voice for Montana entrepreneurs and small business owners because we need to create more high-wage jobs across all our industries for more Montanans.”
Gianforte’s endorsement today comes from the NFIB FedPAC, the organization’s political action committee. Small business owners vote in high percentages and they are influential in their communities. NFIB members in Montana will work hard to send Greg Gianforte to Congress.
