Small Business Endorses Dr. Mark Plaster for Congress

Date: June 21, 2016

National Federation of Independent Business cites candidate’s strong support for small business-friendly initiatives

Washington, D.C. (June 21, 2016) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading representative of small business owners, is endorsing Dr. Mark Plaster in Maryland’s 3rd Congressional District. Plaster’s commitment to issues that small business owners care about makes him an ideal candidate for Congress.

“Dr. Mark Plaster knows the struggles that small business owners go through in operating their firms,” said NFIB National Political Director Sharon Sussin. “As a business owner and a doctor, Plaster knows how difficult and expensive it is to provide good health care. Also, small business owners struggle with excessive regulations and high taxes, and Dr. Plaster knows that easing these burdens would create jobs and prosperity. ”

“We are very pleased to have the endorsement of my fellow business owners at the NFIB,” said Dr. Plaster. “As I’ve noted many times, revival of small business is the key to new jobs, innovation, and broad-based prosperity. I look forward to working hard in Congress to take the chains of excessive taxation and regulation off these good Americans so that we can see an explosion of growth in our economy.”

Plaster’s endorsement today comes from the NFIB SAFE Trust, the organization’s political action committee.  Small business owners vote in high percentages and they are influential in their communities.  NFIB members in Maryland’s 3rd Congressional District will work hard to send Dr. Mark Plaster to Congress.
