Washington, D.C. (September 26, 2016) – The National Federation of
Independent Business (NFIB)
, the nation’s leading representative of small
business owners, is endorsing Brian
for Pennsylvania’s 8th
Congressional District
. Fitzpatrick’s commitment to issues that small
business owners care about makes him an ideal candidate for Congress.

“Brian Fitzpatrick would be a strong voice for
small business owners in Congress,” said NFIB
National Political Director Sharon Sussin
. “As a CPA, he knows just how
complex and expensive our tax system has become, especially for small
businesses. They need relief from high taxes and excessive regulations, and we
know that Fitzpatrick would advocate on their behalf if elected to the U.S.

“Growing up here, I know small businesses across Bucks and
Montgomery counties are what drive our local economy and put people to work;
and I know the best way to ensure security and opportunity for all is to grow
our economy from the bottom up. As a member of Congress that will be my highest
priority,” said Brian Fitzpatrick. “Washington
needs leaders to step up and get to work in a non-partisan fashion: Identify
the problem, work together and enact policies that address it. That’s the
process we followed while I served at the FBI and there’s no reason we should
expect any different from our lawmakers when it comes to reforming our tax code
or reducing burdensome regulations.”

Fitzpatrick’s endorsement today comes from the
NFIB SAFE Trust, the organization’s political action committee.  Small
business owners vote in high percentages and they are influential in their
communities.  NFIB members in Pennsylvania’s 8th Congressional
will work hard to send Brian Fitzpatrick to Congress.
