D.C. (November 9, 2016) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), America’s
leading small business advocate, issued the following statements in response to
the re-election of Sen. Pat Toomey:
“On behalf of the National Federation of
Independent Business and its members in Pennsylvania, I would like to congratulate
Senator Pat Toomey on his re-election,” said NFIB President and CEO Juanita Duggan. “We were proud to endorse
the Senator based on his strong record of support for small business. In
Pennsylvania, more than 98 percent of employers are small businesses and they
employ half of the commonwealth’s workers. NFIB is ready to work with him on
policies that will make small businesses stronger, create more jobs in
Pennsylvania and across the U.S., and make our entire nation more prosperous.”
